We are all saddened by Karen's recent passing...  
she will be remembered as a kind, generous and
spirited person who found art in time to create a
wonderful legacy for her 7 children, and many
grandchildren.

I will miss her terribly...

Karen joined the Senior
Coastsider's Oil Painting Class
in early 2003, never having
painted before.

She started painting still lifes,
and then went on to
landscapes.  She enjoys
painting local landscapes and
seascapes from photographs,
and from her years living in Half
Moon Bay.
